Franck H Perrot

My work bears witness to a view of man, his environment and all the micro-events that ensue. Through my paintings, drawings and installations, I examine indistinct, contemplative places and offer viewers episodes from lives lived between dream and reality, mental landscapes, reminiscences. I explore notions of presence/absence, fullness and emptiness, the real/virtual. 

Borders (frame, line, tear, cutout) question the figure and its relationship to the support, the medium. The work shares several spaces (literal and suggested) and thus, by the same token, reactivates our view of reality. From all this, I attempt a poetic representation of a sensitive experience.
