Presentation

MorningCamille, artist passionate about art, was born, lives and works in Bordeaux. His passion for art has led him to explore various forms of artistic expression over the years.

Before devoting herself fully to her art, MorningCamille worked as a hairstylist and makeup artist in the film and fashion industries. This job allowed him to develop his creativity and his aesthetic sense, while giving him the opportunity to rub shoulders with renowned artists and personalities.

However, his dream was to open a space dedicated to contemporary art, where he could not only exhibit works by other artists, but also create and exhibit his own creations. This is how the idea of the “EKKO gallery” was born, a space where creativity is celebrated and artists can express themselves freely.

It was in this environment of constant inspiration that MorningCamille began to paint. His artistic work focuses primarily on shadows and what remains of a subject. His portraits of pop culture artists captivate the viewer by using play of light and shadow to create an intriguing atmosphere.

Among his favorite subjects, we also find numerous female and male nudes, often inspired by photos sent by people on social networks and other dating applications. MorningCamille finds in these images a never-ending source of inspiration, capturing the essence and beauty of each individual as well as the complexity of our society.

In addition to her work as an artist, MorningCamille has also collaborated with the fanzine "homothetie". This experience allowed him to share his art with a wider audience, while contributing to the LGBTQIA+ art scene.

MorningCamille's artistic style oscillates between black and color, creating a tension between shadow and light, between figuration and the abstract. His works thus creating a feeling of depth.

With her unique artistic talent and commitment to creative expression, MorningCamille continues to explore new art forms and inspire others through her work. His love for contemporary art and his passion for personal expression are key elements of his artistic journey, allowing him to create works that captivate and question audiences.
