Biography
Amandine Guindet lives in Bayonne. “Histoires Buissonnières” is her first solo exhibition of drawings, which we present exclusively on Artsper until July 31, 2017. Her career has taken her to the Bayonne art school, where she worked with Blaise Guirao for five years, before learning printmaking with Jana Lottenburger for four years. These lessons revealed his desire for creation, allowing him to refine his technique and build new stories. Without institutional training, Amandine Guindet has always drawn. When she creates, she thinks of a character, constantly wonders what her story is. Nature is present, lively, dense ... an inspiration coming from its family history spent in forests and gardens. Children's literature is a preponderant element of his artistic work. She is passionate about this world and she has a great desire to illustrate a work. Through this first exhibition, she shows the eyes of all this creative bubbling about which she speaks little. An opportunity to discover his secret garden, by letting oneself travel in these “buissonnière stories”.
