Artist and photographer Christelle Espinasse is a graduate of the École Supérieure d’Art d’Aix-en-Provence and a member of the Hibiscus Transportable collective.
Her artistic practice is profoundly marked by the history of art, in a pictorial sense, as she produces portraits, landscapes, or chiaroscuros. Composition is essential in her work, as well as light and color.
Christelle Espinasse always creates a narrative in her images and uses gestures, daily attitudes, supposedly decisive moments. It is banality made theatrical.
