JF van den Bogaert

The artist sculptor Jean-François Van Den Bogaert was born in 1950 in the Paris region. Initiated in modeling and sculpture by Henry MURAIL in the late 1970s, the artist has since come a long way. Living in the Alsace region since 1981, he also practiced his first engineering profession until 2005, when he decided to devote himself entirely to his passion. The main source of inspiration for JF Van Den Bogaert is the feminine beauty which he considers to be "The smile of the world". For this reason, his work very quickly focused on Women through a series of bronzes. Through these, the artist seeks to represent free and natural, delicate and spontaneous women with slender and sporty silhouettes, with direct faces and gazes… “Emotion, the impetus of life, the disturbance of beauty are the springs of my artistic activity.
