Biography
Ayline Olukman was born in 1981 in Strasbourg. She studied at the School of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg, where she showed her first serigraphs. She graduated in 2005.
Her first explorations revolve around the juxtaposition of visuals. Based on the photograph, she diverted the initial medium using collage, assembling images and color blocks.
The notion of movement is really current in Ayline's work, she captures moments like they were coming out from a movie. Since 2006, Ayline find her inspiration in travel, She lived 6 mouths at Vancouver BC, 3 in San Francisco, she went to many countries all aver the world (Japan, china, argentina, USA, canada, thailand, cambodia, sri lanka) This permanent call of elsewhere pushes her in the emergency of living, her pictures mixing this feeling of fiction and autobiography.
