Corinne Hivert

Corinne Hivert, born February 17, 1966 in Nevers. Self-taught painter and energetician, she has painted since her earliest childhood. She made her first painting on canvas at the age of 8. Her father inspired her a lot, he himself practiced this art as a hobby. For her apprenticeship, she drew a lot of inspiration from the Impressionist era and great painters such as Vincent Van Gogh and Claude Monet.

For a while, she started making trompe-l'oeil, murals, theater sets. She learned the technique of painting on wood and made painted furniture but she quickly returned to oil painting on canvas, the one she loves the most and that she has always practiced.

This artist has always wanted to have her personality and her own style which have been refined over time and through encounters. Today, she no longer uses brushes, the latter has replaced them with her fingers, which gives her great freedom of movement, more material and depth to her works.

She likes to paint diverse worlds in the same canvas: mineral, plant, animal, human world, the non-ordinary world and especially the world of light in order to awaken people's consciousness.

His hands are guided by his imagination against a background of spirituality, mysticism, shamanism, supernatural. She likes to paint in a way that brings an intrigue: the paintings seeming alive and seeming to observe the observer who feels as if drawn into the canvas.
