Mat is a self-taught painter alter ego of Mathilde Planchon born Bonnin in 1982 in Saint Maurice. Mat was born on the plastic arts benches of Lycée Louise Michel in Champigny sur Marne at the end of the 1990s.
Her first artistic experience was to present a course of plastic works to the baccalaureate jury, through various installations. This experience gave her a taste for artistic production.
Inspired by the artists studied during her artistic cultural training, she first seeks to experiment with techniques, materials, colors, lights and materials to develop her artistic expression and world.
Encouraged by Pierre-Christian Taittinger, she exhibited for the first time in 2007 at the 16th Biennale. She realizes for the occasion The Still Life.
At the whim of the life of her alter ego, she works her art dilettante but does not stop producing. She thus develops, each time a little more, her universe and the expression of her artist's soul.
More mature today, she welcomes you into her studio to deliver her work and her creations because without sharing art does not exist.
