Claude Fisch was born on March 10, 1927 in Paris. He grew up in Montmartre in a modest environment.
Child, he wanders, walks the streets, meets artists. A brilliant student, he was forced to work at night and sold his first works to pay for his studies.
His career took him to Limoges, where he studied mathematics and in addition trained in an enamel workshop, the specialty of the region.
He was spotted by the famous master Antoine Soustre who trained him in his workshop and even ended up giving him his fund.
At the end of his studies, Claude Fisch began a career as a senior civil servant which would lead him to travel, to live in many countries, always continuing enamels in parallel.
With more than 70 years of enamel practice, Claude Fisch produces unique, singular works, both artistically and technically. A technique that is becoming increasingly rare. He works in particular with copper in his workshop in Paris and Limoges.
