Biography
Patrick Cambolin was born on May 05, 1947.
Graduated in Graphic Arts and Plastic Arts, he completed his professional career in the field of communication. He worked as artistic director then as creative director in large French and foreign agencies in Paris.
At the same time, he devoted himself to personal research on the concept: horizontality / verticality.
The lines, the colors, the material, the traces are born. The sober and structured compositions reveal a rigor, a very strong color emotion.
A reflection on time and space.
Horizontality and verticality, two contradictory forces which together create a dynamic balance and provide a rhythmic element. A cutout that evokes the succession of moments but also the image of internal torments opposing the stability of the form. Marked lines that cement the various facets of reality.
Finally colors, vector of emotional content which gives all its importance to cultural and emotional elements.
