Biography
Originally from Ukraine after graduating as Master Artist from the Kosiv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts, the only place teaching an art recently recognized by UNESCO, the traditional painted ceramics that Nadia Bodnar perfected at the start of her career .
But it is in the art of watercolor that she has blossomed for the last thirty years of her career, an art that mixes heritage, traditions, flora and surrounding colors while bringing a point of personal view, sometimes romantic, sometimes interpretive where the many details are the reflection of a society, a mood or a feeling out of time but just as current.
