Biography
After studying at the Beaux-Arts of Pau and Nîmes, Mégui Sanchez has exhibited her work for several years in galleries and participated in various Salons such as Arténim and Linéart in Belgium, as well as an artistic residence Créateurs Européens in Portugal ARCA D'Arte, Porto.
Her work has been described by fellow artist Daniel Oliver as 'strong, pulsating and so educated from the ancient worlds' thus carrying with it 'great emotional power'. Additionally, he notes 'through the sublime and the spontaneous, the painting of Mégui Sanchez is part, without any restraint, of the world of contemporary art... and well beyond, it is also the history of art, as the stone is a part of the house'.
