Biography
Juliette Guenard is a 31 year old artist living in the French countryside, between LYON and GENEVA. She explores the theme of portraits, through images of her relatives, but also the drawing of horses, especially her mare Tipie. She thus tries to reconstruct a personal interpretation of her entourage in attitudes that echo her way of seeing them and living with them. She works on canvas or wooden supports with acrylic and oil paint. She uses bic pencil, gesso and watercolour for her sketches. The color white as well as purple have a predominant place in her creative practice, often representing light and shadow.
