
Biography
Monique Anna MICHEL, originally from Haute-Savoie in France, comes from a family of professional photographers.
Holder of a doctorate in Letters, she has taught French literature and language in Guyana (Cayenne), the United States (Louisiana and South Carolina) as well as in the Middle East (Syria, United Arab Emirates , Yemen) and in Africa (Gabon, Senegal, Egypt).
Her many travels around the world and her taste for nature led her to develop a passion for photography. His poetic and sometimes abstract landscapes find their main source of inspiration in Impressionist and modern painting. His photos of nature capture real places with the intention of extracting the imaginary part through selections of scenes, close-ups of singular elements, lighting and color effects.
As a photographer, Monique Anna is part of a universal approach by seeking to give her work a spiritual and philosophical dimension.
