Artist Statement:

Painting come to me in my younger years as an expression for life and as a possibility to transform experiences in a language of color and energy. I love to paint outside "en plein air" and to be in contact with the living nature.
Since 2012 I work geomantically in the landscape and take nature as a whole being. No postcards of the landscape, but the landscape behind the landscape.
The landscape, the plants and the trees are living beings with their very own tasks in this world. In my
landscapes I do not try to depict a landscape as photorealistic as possible, because then I would rather take pictures or film, but to convey the deeper living reality of the landscape and thus convey a freedom in the contemplation.
In the background for me in our digital world today is the awareness of nature and landscape to strengthen and to anchor again in our society. Plein Air painting as a direct communication with nature, its vitality and its importance.
Give back to nature in our society its sacred and protective state.

Depending on the size and the address the shipping price varies between $85,– and $150,–
