Biography
Franz Winzinger (1910-1983) was a German painter, photographer and art historian. He studied at the Ludwig Maximilians University and the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich as well as the Technical University of Munich, where he received his Art history doctorate in 1940. From 1954 until 1979 he taught at the Nuremberg Academy of Fine Arts. Exhibition with a catalog "Tribute to Franz Winzinger, painter, researcher, collector; Works from 50 years" Städtische Galerie Regensburg (Ed.) 1980.
