David Né

Originally from Guadeloupe, René-David Nelzin, more commonly known as "David Né", is an unclassifiable visual artist, who for years has documented the societal, political and economic reality of the Antilles.Having several strings to his bow, he is also a trainer, author, illustrator, speaker, fashion and object designer and social worker.A transdisciplinary artist, he uses various mediums with which he manages to conduct a detailed analysis of modern society.His artistic approach is rooted in the rebirth of matter through recycling and the use of very diverse mediums.Its concept of “artistic recycling with high added value” has awarded it various prizes and rewards, and especially the regional A.P.J.E label in 2015.This highlights its approach to artistic recovery of industrial and domestic waste.
