Alena Beranzoni was born in 1988 in Moscow, Russia, and has been living in London since 2010. Working primarily in acrylic, she specialises in bespoke commissioned portraiture, and occasionally produces independent work inspired by intricate challenges of intercultural communication and exploration of the individual against the construction of the exotic.
Having gained Master degrees in Intercultural Communication at Lomonosov Moscow State University and in Cultural and Creative Industries at King's College London, she combines her work at leading arts institutions with her passion for figurative painting. Her works have been included in private collections in the UK, Italy, Russia and India.
