Presentation
The painter Joaquin Mateo began in 1975 his artistic studies in the School of Applied Arts and Artistic trades of Barcelona and in 1976 he entered the Faculty of Belles Arts Sant Jordi of Barcelona. In 1982 he obtained a Bachelor's degree in this Faculty and in 1988 he passed the Free Drawing Opportunities as an added secondary teaching teacher in the Area of Visual and Plastic Education.
He did doctoral studies on the theme "The representation of anatomical knowledge in the scientific and artistic iconography of the human body", at the Faculty of Belles Arts in Barcelona.
Since 1975, the year in which he celebrates his first painting exhibition in the town where he resides, he has been showing us his work in various rooms, galleries, competitions and national and international competitions.
