Laura Salguero (León, 1987) is an artist whose work takes place between the observation and the dissection of the human being, studying, as an entomologist, the very origin of the most primordial and irrational passions and behaviors.
Her work is situated in the same historical impulse that led to the emergence of curiosity cabinets, but trying to move that curiosity to the contemporary world. The objective that she pursues through the creation of her collections of "wonderful objects" is, in the line between reality and the chimerical, to try to reencant the world, delving into a collective mythical thought.
