The artist was born in the capital of Mallorca in 1947. He is a painter and engraver. Ramis represents landscapes, still lifes and characters bathing or playing on the beach, interior scenes. His work is focused on the expression of happiness and praises a certain “joie de vivre”.
He exhibited his work for the first time in 1982 in Pelaires gallery in Palma. Then he exhibited in several galleries, in Barcelona (Vayreda, Parés, Àmbit, Artur Ramon), Madrid, Toulouse and Paris.
He is recognized for his technique and his use of pastel, and the lyrical atmosphere of his compositions.
