Carlos Blanco Artero

Biography

Carlos Blanco Artero (Madrid, 1983) is an Spanish contemporary artist, who works mainly in the discipline of painting, although he also develops artworks in the field of sculpture, drawing and engraving. His work ranges from an inspired and continuing neo-figuration of artists such as Picasso, or George Condo to an abstraction in which reminiscences of Francis Picabia or Gerhard Richter can be seen. 

Blanco has exhibited at museums, galleries and institutions in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Hong Kong, Paris, Philippines or Madrid. 

He is currently based in the Canary Islands. Blanco have works in Private Collections in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Japan, Mexico, Zaragoza, Madrid, Austria, Singapore, Bilbao, Libya, Barcelona, Australia, Illinois, Malta, Vancouver, Wisconsin, Taiwan, New Zealand, Mallorca, Santander, New Jersey, Oviedo, Milan, Monaco, Paris and London.
