Biography
Christian von Sydow was born in Lund, Sweden in 1950.
He started working as a ceramic artist in 1974. In the '80s, he worked for porcelain manufacturer Rörstrand. In 1996, he opened his own glassworks studio with his wife Ulla.
Christian von Sydow works mainly in glass and clay. His sand castings occupy an important place and sometimes give unexpected and exciting results, from the combination of different materials.
