Biography
Monica Maja Richardson was born in Rome. After a successful career as a TV presenter in Italy, Maja Richardson moved to London in 2004 and focused on her passion for painting, even though art has always been part of her life.
She spent eight years in her studio experimenting with a variety of tools, colors and materials, getting inspired by Richter and Pollock's work and developing her own unique style.
In 2012, she made her first major solo exhibition. Within two hours of the opening of her local gallery in Kensal Rise, all seventeen of her paintings were sold.This exhibition gave Maja Richardson enough confidence to further develop her palettes of color and to organize a second exhibition eighteen months later.
That exhibition in Notting Hill Gate, represented long hours of hard work that she spent doing her collection of paintings. Monica Maja Richardson was able to reflect in her pieces all of her dynamism, peacefulness and energy.
Her pieces are exhibited in numerous art collections everywhere in the world.
