An artisan specializing in flat glass, Aurore Bouter stands out for her practice of verre églomisé and her constant research into contemporary cementation.
In her Marseille workshop, playing with light, she designs unique pieces or capsule series combining minimalism, know-how and manifest design intended for individuals, architects, decorators and galleries.
His second Urban Jungle collection, on the border between a piece of art and an everyday object, takes a poetic look at our ambivalence between urbanism and nature.
“I had the chance and the opportunity to travel a lot during my childhood. From Paris to Caracas stopping in Bogota, Stavenger and more recently Bangkok.
From these nomadic epics, what remained for me was the buzz of big cities, the attraction of ever crazier architecture, the smell of asphalt. Echoing these urban cities, I discovered lush nature and unsuspected landscapes where lost cities end up shining.
Years later, while reflecting on my collection, it is undoubtedly all these riches and ambivalences that have crystallized.
My Urban Jungle was born.
