Presentation
Regis LESIEUR was born on the 23rd of August 1968 in Paris. Passionate about photography since his early childhood, he makes it his job in 1999. He quickly specialised himself in landscape photography constantly looking for news means which will enable him to see the world differently, mainly from above. He started by helicopter and as from 2011 he starts using drones. He is today known worldwide for aerial photography and was prized internationally not less than 65 times for his photography and videos.
In 2013 he decided to settle in Mauritius Island and took not less than 273 000 photos with his drones. In 10 years, he made more than 8 000 kilometres with them which is at least 6 000 flights. His video ''Mauritius from the sky 2015'' wins prizes on every continent and becomes in 2016 the official video of Mauritius Island.
Surprisingly, he comes near of his subjects and even for his 50 centimetres high photography he does not hesitate to use this means which offers a total freedom. He browses from site to site and goes through every corner of Mauritius Island.
Today, he offers to you the very best of his work with a selection of his 10 most beautiful series. Each series is represented by 3 distinct photography shot a few minutes apart and are printed on glossy Chromaluxe.
