Coni

Biography

Coni is a French artist - printer born in 1993. He spent his childhood on the banks of the Loire, then moved to Charente where he trained in Art printing at the Les Mains Sales workshop.

In addition to his silkscreen prints, he also develops his printing practice in his personal workshop where he enjoys working with wood, by creating a series of works entitled SINGULARITÉ:

He makes prints directly from already cut tree trunks that he selects and prepares in order to mark each of their shape on art paper in a few copies.

Coni thus preserves the marks of singular beings, through which his audience likes to see the prints of the fingers of a giant, maps of imaginary cities, or even faces.
