Pascale Mézier

Pascale Mézier was born on December 29, 1960 in Brussels. She is married and is the mother of two boys aged 27 and 34 respectively. She is trained as a primary school teacher, a profession in which she worked for 30 years. Unfortunately, Crohn's disease put an end to her career and Pascale was put into early retirement giving her much regrets. Moreover, a two-year depression will be the consequence. During this dark period, she will discover painting and more particularly old-style oil painting. This discovery will be for her a real therapy, in which she launches herself thoroughly. In 2014, she made her first painting. She is self-taught and painted with passion. A perfectionist at heart, she likes to paint down to the smallest detail, using very fine brushes to do so. Fascinated by the world of children with their facial expressions, their adult positions but keeping their innocence. Subjugated by the mystery of the men and the beauty of the women of the desert, she likes to venture there. Always having her head in the clouds, Pascale dreams by imagining a different world, but without ever losing her child's soul.
