Eliane Dessaud

Having been an interior decorator, my artistic pursuits first focused on the restoration of furniture through painting and patina, trompe l'oeil as well as Tadelakt.

At the end of my professional activity, I turned to painting on canvas for around twenty years, left aside, I decided about six years ago to bring my canvases out of the shadows.

My first works were focused mainly on the stars (Moon-Sun-Earth) of flowers, it was quite heterogeneous.

I started with oil and acrylic using brushes. I realize that I want to express my emotions more through colors and materials where words are incapable of translating them.

Today turned towards nature, I especially observe tree barks which fascinate me as well as minerals. For me, they represent a tingling of life, hence a desire to immortalize them by adding a touch of originality. The paintings that I present are executed in acrylic paint using a shaper.
