Samia Ziadi

Samia Ziadi, the ugly duckling of fashion, is a self-taught designer full of daring from Marseille. A not-so-well-off student, she joined a fashion course in which she asserted herself through her difference and her independence of mind. She does not follow a standard course because she does not wish to subscribe to the standard but to renew the idea of style, in particular through the “Anti_Fashion” festival in which she participates in June 2017. The conference is placed under the leadership of the trend expert Li Edelkoort. His fashion photographs examine issues of society, religion and politics. The models' colorful dresses blend in with the environment out of step with her clothing creations. For example, she has three models draped in blue white red dresses pose in front of a Halal butcher's shop during the presidential elections.
