Lena Abraham

Lena is fascinated by the human body, its curves and counter curves. Look at the body not as a sexualized subject but in terms of moving lines, solids and voids. Of depths and breaths. Masses of different renderings, which she finds instinctively.

She is looking for a textured graphic that she sculpts with colors to give volume to her canvases. Always in search of new techniques, she mixes manual and digital practices to create others.

From the age of 10, she takes part in live model, pottery and kungfu sessions. She first learned about digital arts. Then at the Penningen school she deepened her bases in live model, trained in architecture and scenography. She discovered there the rigor and requirement of work in art. She then joined LISAA in the design and production of 3D animation content. There, she learns to deconstruct her academic training towards a freer expression, to let go in creation.

Libertarian and feminist, she considers art as a means to move the gaze of the world, as a tool of emancipation that we must make accessible.
