Rania Schoretsaniti (born 1971) studied at the School of Fine and Applied Arts, University of West Macedonia Greece (2009-2014). In 2014, she spent as an Erasmus exchange student one semester in NHL Hoge school (The Netherlands). She continued her studies at the Athens School of Fine Arts in Athens in the field of Engraving. In 2017, she received her MFA Fine Arts from Slade School of Fine Arts, University College London, UCL (with distinction) with Ad Allington and Jo Volley as supervisors. In 2020 completes her studies at "Special Education", University Aegean and continues in "Therapy Through Art With Emphasis on Visual Arts", University of the Aegean.
She has exhibited her work in solo and group exhibitions such as 2012 “Festival Invisible Cities as Cosmography", Museum of Contemporary Art of Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki, 2014 “Visual Course in Prespes 2007-2014 a Process of Experience in the Landscape", State Museum of Contemporary Art, Thessaloniki, 2015 “ Motion In Form II", Slade Research Center Square, London, 2016 solo exhibition "The Validity Of Preciousness" at the VILA VELHA Museum at the 8th International Engraving Biennale Douro in Portugal, in 2017 "Tribuna Graphic 2017", Cluj- Museum of Art Napoca, Romania, "3rd Global Print 2017", International Engraving Biennale, Portugal, "RASSEGNA INTERNATIONAL INCISIONS AL FEMMINILE - Edition 2017", Naples, Italy, in 2018 "DIEKUNST IST EIN AUSWEG, BEI SEXUELLEN PROBLEMEN", Sigmund Freud, Dream Museum, St. Petersburg, Russia, 2019 “7th Guanlan International Print Biennial 2019", China,“Greek Engraving in Japan", Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Art, Japan and 2020 “10th International Printmaking" Biennial of Douro, Portugal.
From 2011 until now he participates uninterruptedly in the process Visual March to Prespa, organized by the 1st Painting Workshop of TEET. In 2017 he was awarded the Desiree Painting Prize by Slade in Painting, University College of London, UCL. Her works are in collections in Greece and abroad as well as in museums.
