Luciano Bartolini

Luciano Bartolini ( Fiesole, 1948 - 1994).His training is not artistic, as he undertakes linguistic studies.  He makes numerous trips throughout his life.  In 1973 he created his first works, using wrapping paper and always favoring this type of material, for the realization of his works.  In 1974 he held his first solo show in a building near Florence.  In 1980 he participated in the Venice Biennale exhibiting works related to the theme of the myth of Atlantis, inspired by a trip to Santorini in Greece.  In 1983 he held an important personal exhibition in Berlin.  In 1994 he died at the age of forty-six and in 2000 a retrospective was dedicated to him at the Galleria d'Arte Moderna in Bologna
