Sath

Sath opened his eyes for the first time in 1983. After several years as a self-taught painter, he began his graphic design career in 2004 in the city of Palma.

Restless, curious and convinced that reality can be painted in colors, he realizes little by little that what started as a simple game has just become something else. Much more: a way of life.

Sath uses figurative elements to create slightly surreal colorful works, and impossible situations or actions, but without leaving the message aside. Images of daily life merge and flow into new ones, creating a different meaning. It pursues the idea of re-contextualization as a tool to construct new meanings.

Using spray paint as his favorite coloring technique since 2002, this visual communicator shares his curiosity and thoughts through painting, whether in canvas or making different use of urban space mainly outside the context of traditional art venues. .
