Sinden Collier is an African-American photographer based in Houston, Texas (USA).
After a career in music, she turned to her other passion, photography.
His unique and sometimes surreal point of view quickly earned him recognition and support.
In 2001, she became the first black female photographer to be signed by Getty Images.
Her book “Trains of Thought – Welcome Aboard" receives an honorable mention in Elizabeth Avedon's “2017 Best Photography Books" list. The book combines her images with aphorisms written by her twin sister, Rhett Collier.
His work has been published in magazines and advertising campaigns and has received numerous awards, including “YourDailyPhotograph.com Hot 100 Photographers of 2021".
