Landschaft
Die Erde und ihre Natur sind eine unermessliche Inspirationsquelle, vor allem die unserer Regionen. Jeder Künstler fühlt eine besondere Verbundenheit mit seiner Heimat, die ihn dazu veranlasst, uns über Fotografie, Zeichnung oder Malerei die Reichtümer und typischen Landschaften seiner Umgebung zu zeigen. Die Kunstgeschichte bietet uns daher über Jahrhunderte und Epochen hinweg verschiedene Ansätze zur Landschaftsmalerei.
Landschaften und Natur sind zunächst ein wiederkehrendes religiöses Thema: Fauna und Flora haben in der christlichen Religion eine symbolische Bedeutung. Die Landschaft nimmt alle möglichen Formen an: realistisch, narrativ, symbolisch, idealisiert. Jedes Mal bezeugt der Künstler die Beziehung, die er mit der Natur hat. Die größten Meisterwerke der Malerei sind Landschaften. Van Goghs "Sternennacht", Paul Cézannes "La Montagne Sainte Victoire", Monets "Soleil Levant" und Giorgiones "Der Sturm" sind nur einige Beispiele. Es gibt kaum einen Maler, der noch nie Landschaften, Wälder, Berge, das Meer oder eine Stadt gemalt hat.
Die Natur ist übrigens auch ein Hauptthema der Philosophie. Die Suche nach der Wahrheit ist das Streben aller Philosophen, d. h. ist die Realität die Wahrheit? Wie in der Philosophie zieht sich auch das Thema Natur und Landschaft durch die Epochen und Kunstrichtungen und inspiriert die Künstler immer wieder aufs Neue. Die Landschaft ist das Band, das den Künstler mit seiner Vergangenheit, seiner Kindheit und seinen Erinnerungen verbindet und ihre Vielfalt lässt Raum für Interpretation und Darstellung.
Ein betörendes Licht, ein Heuhaufen, ein Sonnenblumenfeld oder die Strömung eines Flusses - es sind diese vertrauten und vielen von uns bekannten Momente, die die Künstler wählen, um sie darzustellen.
In der zeitgenössischen Kunst wird die Landschaft heute zum Medium des Künstlers. Land Art ist eine Bewegung, die die Natur als Material verwendet und sich dazu entschließt, die ausgetretenen Pfade des Kunstmarktes zu verlassen, indem sie Werke im Freien schafft, die nur in dieser Umgebung zugänglich sind. Die Land Art verbindet die visuelle mit der sensorischen Erfahrung und lässt so das Kunstwerk in all seinen Dimensionen erleben.
