Presentation
Natalia Balashova (Amorepastels) is a pastel artist whose creative path began with a deep dedication to realism, which became the foundation of her distinctive artistic voice. Through years of exploration, she has developed a refined, emotional, and intuitive approach to pastel - a medium she calls “pure love." Her work reveals the harmony between technical mastery and the sensitivity of touch, transforming fleeting impressions into luminous, tangible moments.
Balashova's art has been featured in international exhibitions and is held in private and museum collections across Russia, Italy, Germany, and the United States, including the Museum at the S'Daniele Monastery in Italy. She has studied under renowned artists such as Elena Tatkina, Irina Klimova, Olga Abramova, Sergey Usik, and Vicente Romero Redondo, drawing inspiration from their diverse artistic philosophies.
A member of both the Professional Artists' Union and the National Pastellists' Union, Natalia regularly exhibits with the National Pastellists' Union and the independent art collective ASM-club, where she was awarded First Place at the international pastel competition Pastelium. Her paintings often explore the quiet dialogue between nature and emotion, where trees whisper, water conceals mysteries, and human figures emerge as storytellers of inner truth.
