An Exhibition of Contemporary Egyptian Art Autumn is more than a season. It is a transformation - a moment when colour deepens, light softens, and familiar things reveal a different character. The Alchemy of Fall brings together works by Egyptian contemporary artists connected by the rich visual language of autumn: ochre, amber, rust, burnt sienna, muted gold, and the earthy tones of a landscape in transition. In some works, autumn emerges directly through seasonal imagery; in others, it is present more subtly, in the warmth of a palette, the interplay of light and shadow, or the atmosphere of quiet reflection. Here, colour becomes a kind of alchemy. It shifts the ordinary into something unexpected, turning fleeting impressions into lasting images and inviting different emotional readings of the same hues. Warmth can suggest comfort or nostalgia; fading light can evoke stillness, change, or the quiet beauty of impermanence. Bringing together distinct artistic voices and interpretations, the exhibition explores autumn not as a single subject, but as a sensibility - a way of seeing the world through colour, texture, and mood. Rooted in the individual visions of Egyptian artists, The Alchemy of Fall offers a meeting point between artistic diversity and a shared chromatic language, where every work transforms the season into something uniquely its own.
