Description
Acrylic painting and oil pastel details.
Work created as a diptych - cf. Spring sunset #3
This abstract work of art features a dynamic composition of bold geometric shapes, harmoniously fusing bright, contrasting hues. Dominated by arcs and curves, it juxtaposes deep shades of blue with vibrant bursts of red, pink and orange. The flowing lines create a captivating movement, while strategically placed white spaces add a dimension of depth and light. This painting exudes a lively, pulsating energy, symbolising a balance between chaos and harmony. The mastery of colour and the interplay of form provoke reflection on abstraction and emotion, offering the viewer an intriguing and immersive visual experience. Each element is carefully orchestrated to evoke a sense of continuity and infinity, underlining art's ability to transcend the limits of traditional perception.
Presentation
Laura works mainly with acrylic paint, which she naturally combines with other types of materials to bring materials and nuances: pastels, embroidery, paper collage, wood, ceramics and textiles.
His approach is above all spontaneous, the links between curves and abstract forms reflect an obvious musicality.
Sensitive to architecture, design and passionate about music, Laura approaches her creative process like a musical sequence: the brushstrokes are rhythmic and precise, and the shapes follow a certain improvised choreography.
The vivid palette remains heavily influenced by her mood and inspirations of the moment. Very colorful and rhythmic, Laura's abstract symphonies express optimism and harmony.
