Description
This work depicts a woman dressed in a bright red dress, in a theatrical, carefree pose, holding a bottle. She dances on a pile of industrial consumption waste and skulls, a striking contrast between the joy of living and death. The background features splashes of paint and graffiti, adding an urban and contemporary dimension. The artist skillfully plays with themes of excess and transgression. This painting provokes deep reflection while captivating with its aesthetics and audacity. It is a subject that also challenges with its concrete support, with inclusions, reminiscent of the walls of streets (Paris, Berlin, Cologne etc...) on which SeiLeise regularly intervenes. With the structured material, you appropriate a real piece of the street!
The work is delivered with a double certificate by the gallery that exclusively represents SeiLeise in France.

Presentation
Originally from Cologne, SeiLeise quickly became a street-art star in Germany. His artist name means "be discreet", no doubt in reference to the nocturnal and illicit activity of his beginnings. Recognized specialist in the non-invasive techniques of reverse graffiti and paste-up, he regularly creates routes in the streets of his city (but also in Berlin, Hamburg, Paris and other European cities) with his poetic and ephemeral works.
Ever since SeiLeise (Tim Ossege, his real name) has been exhibiting in galleries, urban art collectors have been snapping up his very neat original stencils made on different supports: paper, aluminium, wood or concrete. In France, the magazine GraffitiArt paid him a first tribute in its number 68 (February/March 2023).
