Description
The artwork depicts a fiery red heart, suspended in a dynamic vortex of colors and textures. Vibrant red dominates the canvas, conveying passion and intensity, while brush strokes of black and white intertwine, creating a bold and profound contrast. These dark shades seem to dance around the heart, giving the work an overwhelming dynamism. The surface of the canvas is rich in texture, adding a tactile dimension that invites the viewer to explore hidden emotions. The gestural technique, visibly energetic, emphasizes the emotionality of the subject, transforming the canvas into a visceral dialogue between delicacy and power. The whole generates a palpable emotional tension, inspiring reflections on the fragility and strength of love. This piece stands out for its ability to capture one of the most complex feelings with extreme visual sophistication.
Presentation
Davide Angelillo was born in Imperia in northern Italy in 1988.
He is a self-taught Italian painter. He began drawing as a child and then discovered the art of painting.
He began to experiment with different typologies initially, from landscape to realistic and then discovered in abstraction a world where he could express his feelings and visions, something that only abstract art can translate.
The painting technique used is excellent quality acrylic which gives a brilliant consistency to the canvas. While in the creation he uses a mixed execution technique, from the brush to the spatulas and also the use of the fingers.
His works have been exhibited nationwide and present in various private collections.
