Description
This geometric composition explores the tension between stability and movement. Set against a deep blue background, angular shapes in shades of gray, ochre, and orange interact to create a subtle chromatic vibration: the blue absorbs, the orange pulses, and the gray soothes. The piece asserts a substantial presence. This visual dynamic arises from a collage of linen fabric on cotton canvas, subsequently painted with acrylics. The linen weave—deliberately left visible—introduces a living texture; at the edges of each geometric shape, the underlying color peeks through, revealing subtle variations that enrich the flat color fields and lend the composition a tactile quality.
The canvas is mounted on a wooden stretcher and then set within a custom-made black floating frame, acting as a protective case. Thus completed, the artwork is ready to hang, fully embracing its identity as an architectural miniature.
