Description
This portrait revisits a cinema icon through a contemporary prism. The face fragments into geometric planes. Black lines highlight stylized features. The gaze disappears behind a play of chromatic contrasts.
The artist uses mixed media techniques to enrich the surface. The integration of recycled materials brings a tactile dimension. Graphic elements recall the aesthetic of pop art. Fragments of text and pointillist patterns come to energize the composition.
The superposition of layers creates a unique relief. The resin brings a deep sheen to the whole. The colors intermingle with precision. The background alternates between pastel shades and saturated bursts.
The balance between abstraction and figuration guides the eye. Each detail suggests a reflection on consumption and recycling. This creation dates from 2025. It combines painting and collage on a rigid support.
Presentation
Danny Hoens, painter, sculptor and conceptual artist Belgian based in Spain, breathes life into his vibrant imagination through resin, polyester, paint and innovative creative recycling techniques. His style fuses pop art, abstract forms and recycled materials in colorful and striking compositions that reflect his commitment to environmental consciousness and creative fantasy. Each piece radiates joy, inviting the viewer to embrace happiness and glimpse the possibilities offered by discarded objects, while celebrating a more beautiful and optimistic world.
