Description
This abstract composition plays on an intense chromatic dialogue. The artist explores here the tension between geometric rigor and the spontaneity of the gesture. Flats of deep red and purple structure the space. They oppose ink projections and dynamic splatters.
The balance rests on a marked contrast between saturated areas and the clarity of the background. Touches of solar yellow come to illuminate the angles, bringing a solar luminosity to the whole.
The technique mixes the precision of acrylic with the fluidity of ink. This mixture creates varied textures, ranging from smooth surface to rugged relief.
The eye circulates freely between the blocks of color and the nervous lines. This work invites pure contemplation, where imagination prevails over form.
The whole unfolds with controlled energy. The canvas ends with orange hues and precise graphic details.
Presentation
Surrounded by artists in her family who were able to pass on to her the passion for creation, she grew up surrounded by works that were sometimes complex but also very endearing.
"My creative process begins with drawing, color and creative freedom, developing paintings through play and experimentation. I have a passion for painting landscapes, reflections in water and the sky.
I believe that a painting, an oil, a watercolour or as here pastels, can only really work if the initial drawing or idea has a strong compositional form. I have spent many hours studying artists such as Monet and Van Gogh as well as Art Nouveau.
My love of color is evident in all my works, it is always a joy to discover a vibrant color with its ability to give rise to works that are sometimes abstract or even unidentifiable, and therefore just for the pleasure of contemplation.
In general, my works present an intense use of colors, giving full life to the subject and engaging the spectator to enter a world apart, where the imagination holds a preponderant place."
