Description
Abstraction is expressed here through a precise chromatic dialogue. The composition plays on a balance between geometric rigor and gestural freedom. Blocks of color intersect. Yellow and green oppose dark and deep tones.
The technique mixes acrylic and ink to create marked contrasts. Spontaneous projections come to break the linearity of the forms. This visual play evokes a search for composition and structure.
The artist explores the material through experimentation. The eye circulates between the opaque areas and the transparencies. The light seems to emerge from the white background, accentuating the clarity of the yellow pigments.
This 2026 creation is part of an approach where the pleasure of contemplation takes precedence. The whole forms a jerky visual rhythm. The final rendering emphasizes the fluidity of the ink spreading on the canvas.
Presentation
Surrounded by artists in her family who were able to pass on to her the passion for creation, she grew up surrounded by works that were sometimes complex but also very endearing.
"My creative process begins with drawing, color and creative freedom, developing paintings through play and experimentation. I have a passion for painting landscapes, reflections in water and the sky.
I believe that a painting, an oil, a watercolour or as here pastels, can only really work if the initial drawing or idea has a strong compositional form. I have spent many hours studying artists such as Monet and Van Gogh as well as Art Nouveau.
My love of color is evident in all my works, it is always a joy to discover a vibrant color with its ability to give rise to works that are sometimes abstract or even unidentifiable, and therefore just for the pleasure of contemplation.
In general, my works present an intense use of colors, giving full life to the subject and engaging the spectator to enter a world apart, where the imagination holds a preponderant place."
