Description
Through a painting with realistic lines, Arfi plunges us into an unreal world populated by mysterious characters. Some of his works are linked with the imagination and magic. He is ironic about his characters while making them endearing. He escapes through the message which draws him into reverie. Hence a melancholy attitude and a feeling of nostalgia.
Presentation
Born in 1959, Joel Arfi created Studio Arfi specializing in graphic design in 1991. A creative who knows how to listen because “without that, we cannot create anything. To imagine we must first hear others understand him. He said. These burlesque and expressive characters animated by the sensitivity of the glances that he paints with precision seem to make conversation with you in real time, they speak of anecdotal memories, of simple, factual, natural things in a spontaneous tone. Arfi has the talent to create expression in every situation. His paintings exude freshness and warmth intermingled in a very "vintage" aesthetic style.
