Description
01 OSMOSE 30²+40²−50² is part of Paul Gallaud's artistic exploration of light, reflection, and perception. Created on a Dibond mirror, this minimalist artwork transforms an industrial material into a sensitive medium where the surrounding environment becomes an integral part of the composition.
Fine geometric lines run across the reflective surface, creating a subtle dialogue between the printed image and the reflections of the space where the artwork is displayed. Depending on the vantage point, the light, and the movements of the viewer, the piece continually evolves, revealing new visual variations. This perceptual instability is at the heart of Paul Gallaud's approach, which questions how our gaze constructs reality.
At the intersection of op art, geometric abstraction, and kinetic art, 01 OSMOSE 30²+40²−50² offers an immersive experience where the viewer becomes a participant in the work. The mirrored surface gradually blurs the boundary between the artistic object, its environment, and the person contemplating it.
Produced in a limited edition of only 4 copies, this artwork reflects the artist's technical precision and his desire to explore the interactions between material, space, and perception. Its 30 × 40 cm format allows it to seamlessly integrate into a private collection as well as a contemporary architecture or design project.
