Lester DL is a French painter who lives and works in Seignosse, southwestern France.
Lester DL is also a committed sports-person. Passionate about nature, surfing plays an integral part of his everyday life and also provides the framework for his artistic practice. The artist collects items that have been washed up or thrown away on the beach and uses them to paint on. He thus pays homage to the ocean, whose residue he recycles.
Influenced by Street Art, Lester DL regularly uses techniques such as tagging or collage to give life to the characters he paints, which are highly coloured, developing in an unusual and attractive environment.
