Céline Chourlet

Céline Chourlet was born in Seine et Marne in a small village not far from the edges of the Marne “Chamigny".

She spent her childhood drawing, very inspired by the flowers and the garden that surround her house. At 18, she left for the Var, and was overwhelmed by the colors, the smells and the sounds. She made her first paintings there, before leaving for Brittany, to other colors, other shades.

1994 marks the opening of his first gallery in Pont-Avens, and then a succession of galleries: followed by a second “Galerie Chourlet" Place des Vosges, then in Vence.

Her life between Brittany, Ile de Ré, Paris will continue in Luxembourg where she will reside almost 10 years after the creation of a gallery located opposite the Grand Ducal Palace. These years will be rich in exhibitions that will have allowed him to evolve and meet many people.

Since 2011, she lives and paints in Cannes where she exhibits her paintings and sculptures with the works of her husband, also an artist, Christian Neel.

In 2014, "Marcel the cat" was born, a creation made in resin and painted as an original work, each copy being unique.
