Biography
Christine Mathieu, French artist, was born in Haute Savoie and lives in Montreuil, just near Paris. She held her first exhibition of photography at the Polaroid gallery in Paris, just after the ENSAD (National Superior School of Decorative Arts in Paris). Since 1989, she founded the cultural design studio "l'épicerie" she still runs today.
In 2002, she won the first major European prize for contemporary art fair in Montrouge (France) and exhibit at the Museum San Cugat del Valles in Catalonia and the Museum Amarante in Porto (Portugal). In 2007, she exhibited "Best of Arles" at Farmani Gallery in Los Angeles. Today her artwork is included in national and international exhibitions.
